| At 2039 hours, the Dunkirk Volunteers were alerted for the single-vehicle auto accident at Ward Road & Haven Lane.
Engine 51, Engine 52, Ambulance 59 and the Assistant Chief arrived to find a vehicle through the guardrail, in the woods with one trapped.
Engine 52 deployed both portable Amkus units along with an assortment of extrication tools and went to work removing the entire passenger side.
Ambulance 59 handled patient care prior to being flown to a local trauma center. |
