March 7th at approximately 6:52 p.m. the Dunkirk Volunteers were dispatched to the intersection of Brickhouse Rd and Southern Maryland Blvd for the auto accident with injuries. Rescue 5, Ambulance 59, and Chief 5A were quickly on the road.

Dunkirk units arrived to find a 2 car motor vehicle collision with 2 trapped and multiple patients. Rescue 5 immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle and using hydraulic rescue tools to free the trapped victims. A total of 3 patients were transported to local hospitals for injuries.
