Saturday afternoon at 1235 hours, Tanker 5 was clearing a Box Alarm in Saint Leonard, Engine 51 was clearing a medical local in Huntingtown and Ambulance 59 was committed on a separate medical local. With 3 units already on the street, a first due Box assignment was dispatched for the trailer fire at 2312 Carter Avenue in the Regency Manor Trailer Park.
Engine 51, Engine 52, Squad 5, Tanker 5, Brush 5, Chief 5, the Assistant Chief & Deputy Chief responded on the call. The Dunkirk Volunteers found an outside fire that had extended into the trailer. Two lines were deployed making quick work of the fire. The assignment was held to Company 5 units before returning to service at 1311 hours.
