One Extricated & Flown: Route 260 & Cornwall Road |

Less than 30 minutes after clearing the accident at Route 260 & Sansbury Road, the Dunkirk Volunteers were alerted for the serious accident at Route 260 & Cornwall Road. Squad 5, Engine 52, Ambulance 58 & Chief 5A responded. Communications advised of a three vehicle accident with four people trapped. Units from the Dunkirk VFD arrived on location with 3 vehicles involved and one person trapped. Squad 5 & Squad 1 extricated the patient in 8 minutes by removing the roof and both driver side doors. One person was flown to a local trauma center. |
