High Angle Dog Rescue in Lusby

At 0955 hours, Dunkirk VFD Squad 5, Technical Rescue 5 & Chief 5A were alerted to 1234 Golden West Way in Lusby for the High Angle Rescue. First arriving units found a blind poodle that had walked off a 70' cliff, landing in a pile of brush 30' down the cliff edge.

The Dunkirk Volunteers arrived on location and set up multiple rescue and belay systems, rescuing the dog. The Dunkirk Volunteers returned to service at 1223 hours.
