Co 5 Units Handle Two Rescue Boxes

Around 1425 Co 5 units were dispatched to North Beach box 1-10, at Megan Circle/Fifth Street, for the motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Squad 5 (6 personnel), A58, Chief 5, and Chief 5B all marked within a minute of dispatch, and responded on the call.
The vehicle involved, had stuck a tree off the roadway, and caused the driver to become entrapped. Squad 5 assisted with stabilization and patient packaging, before returning to service along with A58.

During this call, Technical Rescue 5, Chief 5 A, and 3 rope technicians responded to Solomons box 3-11 for a High Angle Rescue involving an individual that was stuck in mud in a dried out lake. This incident was handled prior Co 5 units arrived on scene.
Co 5 units returned to service at 1505.
