On Sunday April 29, the 70th Annual SMVFA Parade was held in Huntingtown, Maryland. Days before, the members began an extensive cleaning of the apparatus leading up to the events. Sunday morning, 15 members staffed Engine 51, Squad 5 & Ambulance 58 for the parade, leaving 3 additional crews in quarters.

Engine 51 received Best Appearing Engine.
