| At 1709 hours, Squad 5, the Fire Chief & Assistant Chief were alerted to 657 Alder Place in Rosehaven for two sheds on fire. Units arrived on location and found two sheds fully involved with exposure issues on 3 sides and a rapidly spreading brush fire.
Crews from the North Beach VFD, Dunkirk VFD and several companies in Anne Arundel County worked aggressively to extinguish the fire. The Dunkirk VFD Fire Chief held the Command & the Assistant Chief handled the Fire Attack group. Units from Dunkirk operated for 2.5 hours. The Dunkirk VFD covered an Engine & Ambulance call during this time. |
