This afternoon, Dunkirk VFD units responded to a single-vehicle accident on southbound Southern Maryland Boulevard (Rt. 4) at Mt. Harmony Road. The vehicle had struck a utility pole, resulting in injuries.
Rescue Engine 5, Paramedic Ambulance 205, Chief 5, and Chief 5B arrived on scene and provided immediate care. Two occupants were transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
