One Extricated & Flown in Owings

At 0806 hours, Engine 52 was alerted for the serious auto accident at Route 2 & Grovers Turn Road. The Dunkirk Volunteers arrived on location and found one person trapped. The crew from Engine 52 assisted with extricating the patient and also protected the crew with a charged hoseline. Once the patient was extricated, Engine 52 handled the Landing Zone.

During the incident, additional crews in quarters handled 3 separate medicals.
