| On June 11th around 11:30 pm Calvert County communications alerted Company 5 for the mutual aid to Anne arundel county. Rescue 5, Paramedic Ambulance 258, Chief 5A and 5B responded to the “Anne Arundel 9-16 box” in the area of Route 4 and Talbot Rd for the report of a Motor Vehicle collision. AACO Engine 9-1 arrived to find one vehicle off the roadway with one trapped occupant. Rescue 5 arrived to find the same and begin vehicle stabilization and extraction. Chief 5A arrived and assumed command, Chief 820A was assigned as the extrication group supervisor. Rescue Squad 820 arrived and prepared to assist Rescue 5 if needed. Paramedic Ambulance 258 assumed patient care and prepared the patient for Medevac via Maryland State Police Trooper. AACO Engine 9-1 handled the landing site. Units returned to service around 1:30 am. |
