On Wednesday October 5th shortly after 4pm the Dunkirk Volunteers were dispatched mutual aid to Anne Arundel County for a motor vehicle accident with a person trapped. Rescue 5 arrived on scene near the county line at south bound Route 4 and Lower Pindell Rd. Arriving first Rescue 5 confirmed one person trapped and immediately went to work stabilizing the vehicle, initiating patient care, and beginning extrication. Unfortunately the single occupant that was trapped was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Anne Arundel County Police Traffic Safety Section is investigating.
