On Wednesday, July 28th at approximately 11:54am Truck Company 5 was dispatched as the first due truck to a reported house fire at 717A Tyler Point Rd in Deale. Units from Anne Arundel County Fire Department arrived to find smoke coming from a 2 story house.

Dunkirk VFD Truck 5 arrived shortly after and went to work. Truck 5 searched and located the fire while simultaneously laddering, ventilating, and opening up for engine companies. Due to conditions found on scene a working fire dispatch and tanker task force were requested. Tanker 5 responded as part of the tanker task force.
