The Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to announce that the new Truck 5 is now in service.

Truck 5 is a completely custom built 2020 Seagrave Marauder with a 100 Foot Force Aerial and a 500 lb Tip.

There has never been another Seagrave Truck built that is identical to Dunkirk Truck 5, however due to its unique design and operational effectiveness, many departments throughout the United States are anxiously pursuing the opportunity to build off of the Seagrave/Dunkirk Truck Company Specifications.

Truck 5 is equipped with a total of 319 feet in ladders, 90 of those feet being side-stacked on the Officers side of the Truck for easy and rapid deployment. Truck 5 is powered by the Cummins X12 Engine paired with the Allison transmission, she measures 11 feet high, 9 feet wide, 38.5 feet long and has seating for 6 Truckmen.

This is a huge milestone for Seagrave, Calvert County, and the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department.

The Dunkirk Volunteers Made Truckwork Great Again on November 1, 2018, and we look forward to keeping it great along with continuing to supersede the expectations of our peers.

The Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank all of the Calvert County Chiefs for their support during this historical event.
