Tuesday July 21 at 0349 hours, the Box Alarm was struck for the house fire at 12545 Perrywood Lane in Dunkirk (512 box).

Dunkirk VFD Engine 51, Truck 5, Ambulance 59, Chief 5 & both Deputy Chiefs arrived to find smoke showing from the rear of a 2-story single-family house.

Engine 51 advanced the 200’ line and found fire on the rear exterior siding of the house that had extended into the walls and floor joists. Truck 5 & North Beach VFD Tower 1 opened up the walls and cut away the flooring to expose all fire which was quickly knocked down by Engine 51. The box assignment was held to Dunkirk VFD and Tower 1.
