On Easter morning at 1115 hours, Still Box 506 was dispatched for the oven fire at 118 Cross Point Drive bringing Dunkirk VFD Engine 51, Truck 5 & North Beach VFD Engine 11.

Engine 51, Truck 5, the Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief, Safety Officer & Fire Chief arrived on location and found smoke showing from a two-story house. Upon entry, fire was located in the walls of the kitchen and the Box Alarm was requested bringing Dunkirk VFD Tanker 5 & Ambulance 58 to the scene.

The fire was quickly extinguished and units from the Dunkirk VFD returned to service in 45 minutes.
