At 1441 on Saturday, September 3rd, Area Box 110 was dispatched for a reported deck fire. Engine 51 (Lieutenant with 4) and Squad 5 (Sergeant with 4) marked up instantly and responded. After units on scene advised that there was extension into the attic, Engine 51, second arriving, deployed a 400' 1 1/2" attack line through side Alpha and up into the attic. Squad 5 arrived on scene shortly after and assisted crews with opening up the ceiling on the first floor and utilized a Thermal Imaging Camera to check the attic for any hot spots. The box was held with Co. 1 (NBVFD) and Co. 5 (DVFD) units, all others returned.

Engine 51 and Squad 5 cleared the call at 1520.
