At 0904 hours, the Box Alarm was dispatched for the house fire at 2820 Dunleigh Drive in Dunkirk (509 box). Dunkirk VFD Engine 51, Truck 5, Ambulance 58, the Fire Chief, Assistant Chief & both Deputy Chiefs responded. Immediately after dispatch, Communications downgraded the call to a local box for an auto fire.

Company 5 arrived on location and found the same. The fire was quickly extinguished and units returned to service 30 minutes later.
