At 2020 hours, the Box Alarm was sounded for the house fire at 1150 Old Paris Road (108 box). Engine 51, Truck 5, Tanker 5, Ambulance 59, Chief 5, Chief 5B, Chief 5C & Safety 5 responded with 19 personnel.

Units arrived with fire showing from the roof and first floor. Engine 51 arrived, supplied the fireground and advanced the 400’ line backing up Engine 11’s crew and ended up repositioning to the basement to extinguish fire that had dropped below. Truck 5 laddered the house and ventilated. Units from the Dunkirk VFD operated for 90 minutes before returning to service.
