Tuesday August 8 at 1816 hours, units from the Dunkirk VFD had just cleared a motor vehicle accident at Route 4 & Chaneyville Road. A separate accident was dispatched at Route 4 & Mt Harmony Road.

Squad 5, Engine 52 & Ambulance 59 arrived on location and found a two-vehicle accident with the driver pinned and unconscious. The crew from Squad 5 quickly extricated the driver and assisted Ambulance 59 with patient care.

One patient was flown to a local trauma center.
