This morning at 0457 hours, Dunkirk VFD Truck 5, Tanker 5, the Fire Chief & Deputy Chief responded to 1002 Henry Lane (Anne Arundel 41-16 Box) for the house fire.

First arriving units reported heavy fire showing from a two-story house. Truck 5 positioned in front of the house and assumed 1st due responsibilities. The driver laddered all 4 sides of the house while the remainder of the crew conducted a primary search and opened up the entire second floor ceiling to expose the fully-involved attic.

Due to units aggressively attacking the fire from the interior, both neighboring houses received minimal damage and the fire was quickly extinguished. Tanker 5 supplied the fireground during the incident. The Dunkirk Volunteers operated for 3 hours.
