This morning at 0502 hours, Dunkirk VFD Squad 5, Prince George Engine 820, Anne Arundel Engine 91 & Anne Arundel Medic 9 were dispatched for the motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at Route 4 & Talbot Road. Dunkirk VFD Chief 5 also responded.

Squad 5 arrived and found a motorcycle in the woods that had struck a truck & trailer. After a brief search, the motorcycle operator was found next to a utility pole. The crew from Squad 5 began CPR and treating the victims injuries. Unfortunately, the patient did not survive.

Northbound Route 4 was shut down for 5+ hours this morning while investigators reconstructed the accident.
