Father of Safety Officer/Board Member Marty Sealey, Grandfather of Fire Chief Toby Sealey, Grandfather of Firefighter Jody Sealey, and father-in-law of Ladies Auxiliary President Kathie Sealey of Dunkirk VFD passed away peacefully in Florida.

Mr. Bob Sealey was a highly decorated member of the community and founding member of the Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department in Solomon’s Island, Maryland. He served his nation proudly in the military service as well.

He is a true testament to the dedication of selfless service through volunteering and that mission carries through to his children and grand children.

It is a sad time for the fire service in Calvert County, however Dunkirk VFD is certain that Mr. Sealey is looking down with fond memories and a watchful eye over those who continue to serve.
