At 1623 hours, Squad 5 and both Deputy Chiefs responded to the serious accident on Mount Zion Road in the area of Farmhouse Lane.

Units arrived and found a two vehicle head-on accident. The engine compartment of one vehicle was on fire and the driver of the second vehicle was heavily entrapped.

Squad 5 deployed every piece of hydraulic equipment to work on extricating the driver. All four doors and the roof were removed in addition to rolling the dash. The total extrication took approximately 25 minutes. Three patients were transported to nearby trauma centers. Squad 5 operated for one hour.
