At 1758 hours Squad 5 & Ambulance 58 were alerted to Anne Arundel County at Route 4 & Talbot Road for the accident with entrapment. Both units responded with 9 personnel and found a single vehicle overturned with one occupant trapped.

Squad 5 immediately went to work and stabilized the vehicle using the Res-Q-Jaks, cribbing, and wedges. The extrication was complete within 5 minutes upon arrival which consisted of the removal of two doors. The ambulance crew assisted ALS with patient care which ultimately required a flight to a nearby trauma facility. The Dunkirk Volunteers returned to service at 1828 hours.
