Accident With Fire & Flyout in Sunderland

Saturday May 12 at 1507 hours, Squad 5, Ambulance 58, Safety 5 & the Deputy Chief were alerted for the serious accident with fire at Route 2 & Wayside Drive.

Units arrived and found a three vehicle accident with two vehicles fully-involved. Engine 61 & Squad 5 deployed two attack lines to extinguish the fire.

One patient was flown to a local burn center. Engine 51 established the Landing Zone.
