This afternoon at 1455 hours, while Ambulance 58 was handling a medical local, Squad 5, Engine 51, the Fire Chief and both Deputy Chiefs responded to Route 4 & Brickhouse Road for the auto accident.

Two vehicles were involved with one person pinned. Squad 5 stabilized the vehicle and removed the door to free the patient for transport to the hospital. The Dunkirk Volunteers returned to service 20 minutes later.
