At 1836 hours, the Box Alarm was dispatched for the reported house on fire in the area of the Prince Frederick Walmart. Squad 5 and the Assistant Chief responded immediately.
Units arrived and found a two story balloon frame house with fire throughout. An aggressive interior attack was mounted and searches were completed by Squad 5 upon their arrival.
A task force was sounded bringing Engine 52 with 4 additional members.
Engine 51 & Ambulance 59 handled a first due medical during this incident as well. The Dunkirk firefighters worked for four hours knocking the fire and opening up.
