On this Christmas Eve at 1957 hours, Squad 5, Engine 52, Ambulance 59 and the Assistant Chief were dispatched to Route 4/Upper Pindell Road for the accident with entrapment.

Crews marked en route immediately and arrived to find a two car t-bone style accident with two occupants trapped. Squad 5 and Engine 52 went to work extricating the trapped occupants and removed 4 doors and a B post to access the trapped occupants. Ambulance 59 evaluated a priority 1 patient and transported a priority 3 patient to a nearby hospital.

A total of 5 EMS units were required to mitigate the incident.
