At 1526 hours, Squad 5 & Ambulance 58 were dispatched for the serious accident at Route 2 & Kent Road. Units arrived to find a two vehicle accident with one trapped.

Huntingtown VFD Engine 62 & Dunkirk VFD Squad 5 worked together to remove the driver’s side doors and “B” post to free the trapped driver. A total of four patients required medical treatment. Ambulance 58 transported one patient to a local hospital. The Dunkirk Volunteers returned to service at 1600 hours.
