This morning, 5 Dunkirk VFD members aboard Engine 51 filled-in at Kentland VFD for the funeral services of AFC & President John Burns.

At 1329 hours, the box alarm was sounded for a reported building fire in Kentland’s first due at 2412 Virginia Avenue.

Engine 51 arrived with Seat Pleasant E8 reporting fire showing from a two story apartment building. The crew from Engine 51 advanced the 400' up a ground ladder and extinguished all fire with Waldorf Truck 3 assisting.
